A little too many Swiss here

Always happy for years.

Great view

Taste of food was good meat was cooked well. Side dish selection was far too little. Ambience was ok, old fashioned nice view. Service was friendly but a little overwhelmed. Order was not completely fulfilled and the waiting time of 45 min. was too long.

Meat was well prepared Unfortunately, you could only order pasta. It was very disappointing for an inn like this. Salad only one kind. Service unfortunately not guest-oriented and not well coordinated. You don't get everything you order

The view and the salad get a far better rating from me than the service and the greasy food. The meat was not nearly done and after a complaint, the same cut piece was brought to us again - this time brown and dripping with fat. Recommendation: if you don't mind the unfriendly service, the view is worth a visit with a drink.

Was a traveler for 20 years impotent and restaurant. Nice food and room. The view is wonderful. I endeavor to reassure this local hotel.

Well if you like it

Typical german local food. One waitress nice and friendly but the one assigned to our table very harsh. Asking for one more knife and instead of bringing one started to count the number of knives on the table saying that she gave the right number! Who cares... Asked more in detail what was the cake? She looked at me and simply said it's a standard pie!?! A bit more in details would have been welcomed... No thank you neither bye when we left because probably we did not leave any tips... But had no wish to leave any with this kind of behavior... She probably missed her vocation... Not acceptable. First time and unfortunately most probably last time.

Priceless beautiful view from the terrace over the vines. Vespers card with sufficient offer. The service was very rough.

Simple but good, a beautiful view of Basel and the vineyards. Simple card but good and plentiful. In the operation you could not complain. Is busy on the terrace and then you have to bring a bit of patience. We stayed there simple rooms but clean. Small breakfast room simple breakfast. Good night sleep for a small price.

Super Uhrige pub with the most beautiful view over Ötlingen 😍 good Hausmann's food ordered the Käässpätzle or fried potatoes as a side dish! ❤️ great times here!

Always in the ox! Good wine, fine snacks, cozy, nice service.

If it weren't for this location and the view over the knee of the Rhine, I wouldn't award a point at all. 20 minutes to order (2 × wine and 1 × snack). After another 20 minutes you can tell that we have been forgotten. Vespers arrives 20 minutes later (different from what was ordered at first). Thank you, never again with us.
